About Us
Mobilizing concrete actions to alleviate precariousness and meet the essential needs of the most destitute
Mission grâce de Christ
The suffering that befalls humanity does not leave anyone indifferent. It is so numerous that it would be difficult to eradicate it once and for all. However, we can at least work to alleviate the suffering of those who are bowed down by the weight of misery to the point of being deprived of the most basic needs. Being aware of this without taking action is meaningless. Therefore, concrete actions are necessary to address the issue of suffering that plagues human life.
Many people think of a better life after death without realizing that this does not mean life on earth must be characterized by an inhumane existence. If that were the case, Christ would not have come into this world to announce the glory to come while engaging in social work. Indeed, he fed some, restored others, and helped those who were afflicted. The apostle James defines true religion as follows: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
This call to active compassion is the guiding principle behind every one of our interventions. We believe that faith must translate into tangible solidarity, capable of transforming the daily lives of those who have lost everything. By offering material and moral support, we are not merely relieving temporary pain; we are working to restore human dignity where it has been trampled by poverty.
Our commitment is therefore a direct response to this mandate of love and service. By joining forces, we turn indifference into hope and distress into a path toward a more dignified life. It is by reaching out to the most vulnerable that we manifest, here and now, the reality of a more just and fraternal world.
